Daughter's Baby Shower Card

 Well hasn't the weather been a total wash out! After taking 'Sir Bertie' out for a walk..I've had a few hours in my craft room making a card for our Daughter's baby shower and tidying the place up a bit (I have no clue how it get's so messy) I used a Stamping Bella stamp I have and this is the first time I've used it actually and made some flowers with a John Next Door Die. It looks really blue but in real life it's like a pale teal..no hint at the sex of the baby because they don't want to know LOL.

#593 - Fab'n'Funky - 'Add A Sentiment'

 Time for our 'just for fun' challenge at Fab'n'Funky and our host for this challenge is our lovely Pat K and she has chosen the theme of 'Add A Sentiment' 

I have used a new 3D embossing folder from Open Studio at Memory Box and used the die that comes with it to cut the central image and add some gold gilding wax. The sentiments are from the new set from John Next Door's collection that you can use with his ribbon tag dies. Come on over and join in the fun and see what the rest of my teamies have made!

Won't be long until we are Grandparents again our Daughter is due on 16th May so we have all been helping with the new nursery...the cost of things nowadays is absolutely ridiculous! my Gran once told me she used a drawer to put me in when my parents stayed at their farm! LOL...so Grandad's wallet is a LOT lighter again but we are so excited! We bought Isabelle our Granddaughter a t-shirt with 'I'm going to be a big sister on' and some new trainers because we don't want her to feel left out. The baby shower is on 27th April but there is no 'baby reveal' as they want it to be a surprise...so myself and the mother-in-law can't do anything in pink or blue yet!!! Sir Bertie has been having some lessons I know he's very friendly but he hasn't quite got the hang of 'everyone' doesn't want to cuddle you yet! Here's some photo's of a very wet and muddy walk yesterday!

Crafty Calendar April Challenge

 Hi everyone...it's time for our monthly challenge at Crafty Calendar and the theme this month is 'Dry/Wet Embossed' and we are sponsored by the fabulous All Dressed Up.

I embossed the background with a 3D brick embossing folder I have and then coloured the image with copics and added some flowers and foliage and a tag off a John Next Door die. Please pop on over and join in and get the chance to win some images from the store!

Well the 'terror' that is Bertie lol is being quite good...and I emphasise the 'quite' because he's having my life at the minute!! ...he seems to think I'm a teenager and wants me to join in his zoomies around the garden.....well Bertie I'm afraid it's so NOT happening. Hi everyone! I just thought I would put up a 'self portrait' of me after a few 'zoomies' with Sir Bertie!!!

LOL I thought this Funky Fossil stamp was very apt for me after a morning of madness with this devil hahahaha Here he is watching David Attenbrough!!!

Feeling Groovy

 

Hi everyone...well we've had non-stop rain ..the garden is like a mudbath and 'Sir Bertie' doing zoomies around it hasn't helped! LOL but he looks so happy so a bit of mud isn't going to hurt us. We have new neighbours that have moved in next door ..so he's already made friends and keeps going for cuddles over the fence if they are outside. I made them a 'New Home' card but forgot to take a photo of it and a lemon drizzle cake for a cuppa while they were getting sorted. 

My card today is an image I received through my Patreon membership of Mo's Digital so I coloured her with copics and just coloured a heart stencil with distress oxides and added the sentiment that came with it. I hope you are all okay and lots of huggles and take care xxxxxxx Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Happy Easter!

 Hi everyone!...I would just like to wish you all a very Happy Easter. We are having the family round today for a roast dinner and I've made a cheesecake and a chocolate cake for afters. 

I took Bertie out early this morning and was trying to tire him out but it's not happening LOL he's full of beans and when Lulu our Daughter's dog arrives I can see it getting even more boisterous.

It's been quite hard getting back into crafting so I apologise for this card LOL but I think I've lost my mojo! anyone find it I'd be really happy to have it back hahaha. Bertie has recovered well after the loss of his 'marbles' ...it's as if he's always been here.
